Well last night actually went really well, we just had a few drinks and some music and relied on my eldest for entertainment as she was more than a little tipsy hehe.
After quite a maudlin start to the evening i managed to raise my spirits and celebrate the new year in the way it should be done. I even managed one attempt at the cha cha slide and one of the macarena, that was me for the evening then lol.
My little one was awake and insisted on dancing with everyone all night so he had a brilliant time and wanted to know if we would be doing it again tonight he is going to be so disappointed when he realises hes back to mummy making him lay on the sofa and watch crap tv hehe.
