A Little Update

Well my appointment went well this week and the surgeon says im doing so well he doesnt want to see me again (i have that affect on lots of people lol) and although i have to take it easy for 2-3 months only light housework allowed (shame) i am to go away and enjoy my life.

Well i had an early feeling of this is brilliant but then it hit me that i would never hear that about my baby boy and that i would give anything to be able to plan a future for him, i try so hard to stay positive to tell myself that medical science is amazing and somehow some way there will be something that will help him, and the majority of the time it works but it was an awful feeling to face the fact that although i have had major heart surgery and although that replacement valve could go wrong my chances of outliving my baby are higher than the chances of him out living me.

Im now back to the lets not worry about the future, one day at a time is the best way and to take heart from the fact that my boy is here and is doing well so far.

We have his cardi appointment next week so fingers crossed that we can have a good one xxxx
